Single-room MVHR units are a great option as the name suggests, if you want to ventilate one or two rooms or if a centralised system is not suitable due to lack of access.
Most Single room MVHRs are designed the same, they fit through a cored hole in your external wall, and within this core, there is a ceramic core exchanger.
Whilst air is extracted for seventy seconds heating the ceramic core, it reverts to bring air from outside in and it is heated up whilst passing through the ceramic core.
